Support Group for Registered Veterinary Technicians

Offering support to registered veterinary technicians who are struggling with exhaustion, overwhelm, and feeling under-appreciated. It is a safe space to share your experiences and connect with others struggling with the issues unique to veterinary medicine. Together we will learn how to manage feelings of anxiety and frustration, tend your exhaustion, and empower you to develop skills to manage your work experiences.

Cost: $300 (tax incl) for 6 x 90 min sessions

The group will run on Wednesdays during June 29 – August 3, 2022 and September 21 – October 26, 2022 at 7pm – 8:30 pm

The Gut-Brain Connection: Nutrition to Your Support Mental Health

This workshop explores the important connection between the food you eat and your mental health. You will learn:

  • how food plays a key role in inflammation
  • how inflammation in your gut can affect your brain
  • eating habits to improve your digestion
  • how to reduce inflammation naturally.

The workshop includes an interactive presentation, open discussion and an anti-inflammatory food list so you can implement what you learned at home.

Challenging the Narrative: Cultivating a healthy body image

Struggling with body image? You’re not alone. Join us for this introductory workshop series designed to help you explore, understand and cultivate different components of positive body image. Each workshop will include an educational portion, an activity and group discussion to nurture reflection, support and community. All are welcome. Spaces limited.
