Virtual Therapy across Ontario

Myroslava works with adults navigating grief and loss, caregiver burnout, compassion fatigue, LGBTQ concerns, anxiety, depression, trauma and relationship challenges, with a particular specialization in queer experience, grief and bereavement.

Hear from Myroslava: I know how hard it can be to do the things that you know will make you feel better. You want to find some peace. You may find yourself taking care of everyone else, struggling to say no, or feeling guilty when you put your own needs first. You feel like you need to get out of your own way, but you don’t know where to start.

Don’t worry, you aren’t doomed to feel this way forever. We will work together with various techniques that integrate mind, body and spirit to find what speaks to you and helps you move toward the life you envision for yourself.

I received my training at the Ontario Psychotherapy and Counselling Program. This 5 year program included my own intensive personal therapy. I know how difficult change can be. I know what it’s like to sit on your side of the room.

I have a passion for supporting people through pet loss and anticipatory grief — including the difficult period when you know a beloved animal may be nearing the end of their life. With over 20 years under my belt working in veterinary medicine, I also understand the depth of the connection that comes from loving a pet. It’s scary to imagine life without them when, whether through old age, illness or an accident, faced with having to go on without them.

Certified as a Pet Loss and Bereavement Coach, I am equipped to support those grieving the profound loss of their beloved pets. See upcoming dates for – When You Lose the One You Love – Myroslava’s free Pet Loss Sharing Circles.

You may be a good fit for working with me if:
– You are grieving the death of someone important to you
– You are grieving the loss of a beloved pet or preparing for an expected pet loss
– You are queer identified or questioning and looking for LGBTQ+ affirming and culturally responsive therapy
– Your grief feels lonely, complicated or difficult for others to understand
– You work in healthcare, veterinary medicine, education or another helping profession and feel burned out or emotionally exhausted
– You are experiencing anxiety, depression or feeling overwhelmed
– Past or traumatic experiences continue to affect your life today
– You often take care of everyone else and struggle to make room for your own needs
– You have difficulty saying no, setting boundaries or letting go of people-pleasing
– Relationship patterns are causing stress or leaving you feeling depleted
– You are navigating a major life change or questioning what comes next

My practice welcomes women, queer and trans clients, diverse families, immigrants and people from a wide range of cultural backgrounds and lived experiences. As a cisgender white, Ukranian woman I am walking a path of unlearning and am happy to walk with others committed to doing the same.

If you’ve been carrying grief, exhaustion, or questions about your identity for longer than you expected, you don’t have to find the perfect words before reaching out. I offer a compassionate space where your experiences can be taken seriously, at your own pace. You’re welcome to book a free consultation to see if working together feels like the right fit.

I am registered with Non-Insured Health Benefits for mental health services for registered First Nations & Inuit people.
