As a dedicated and compassionate therapist in training, I strive to provide a safe and supportive space for you. Life can bring many challenges, and it takes strength and courage to reach out for help. It is my honour to support you. As we build a collaborative and trusting therapeutic relationship, we will work toward positive transformation and a deeper self-understanding.
Focus Areas: Anxiety, Depression, Relationship Issues, Life Transitions, Eating Disorders, and BIPOC communities. I approach these areas from a CBT and EFT perspective, drawing on my background in neuroscience, diversity & equity, social psychology research, and the performing arts.
I am currently completing my Masters in Counselling and Psychotherapy at the University of Toronto. Previously, I graduated from the University of British Columbia with a B.Sc. in Behavioural Neuroscience. In addition to my studies, I have worked for over 5 years on the distress line and in peer support programs helping people through crises and challenges.
We all come to therapy with a diverse set of life experiences. As such, I believe in creating a space where folks of all identities feel safe, supported, and empowered. Regardless of what has brought you here, know that you deserve to be heard and to work towards the life you want to live.
