There may be moments when you wonder why it’s so hard to move toward the life you envision. The path forward may feel unclear or out of reach. This is a human experience, and one deserving your care and attention. My work experience, which spans from Asian youth mental health to volunteering in hospice care, has given me a keen cross-cultural lens and a deep respect for the ways people make meaning in their lives. I approach my work with a stance of curiosity and non-judgment, believing that understanding grows when we create space to explore without fear of criticism.
I’m especially mindful of how challenging early adulthood can be. There are so many firsts—figuring out your career and next steps, navigating messy relationships, managing financial responsibilities—and doing it alone is even harder. As someone that’s been through my fair share of those transitions, it’s a big reason why I got into this work. I currently offer low-cost CBT for young adults, in addition to supporting individuals navigating a wide range of life experiences.
Focus Areas: Individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and self-esteem concerns, particularly within Asian and BIPOC communities. I draw from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based approaches. I have a background in biology, neuroscience, psychology, and Buddhist psychology fields that shape how I understand the mind, body, and emotions.
I see this process as collaborative where we uncover the values, strengths, and motivations that can guide you toward a life that feels authentic and fulfilling. I aim to offer a space where you can be yourself without pressure and a place to explore, learn, and grow at your own pace. Together, we will work toward helping you feel equipped and confident to create the changes you’re seeking.
