Non-Insured Health Benefits (NIHB)

We believe everyone deserves access to quality mental health care. If you live in Ontario and are First Nations or Inuit, and eligible for the Non-Insured Health Benefits (NIHB) program, your sessions at Redbird Therapy may be fully covered.

Our team offers psychotherapy grounded in cultural respect and community care, with a focus on honouring your identity and lived experiences. The wisdom you bring about your healing path is respected and welcome.

As a trauma-informed and trauma treatment clinic, we recognize the impacts of colonization in Canada, systemic discrimination, racism and poverty that impact indigenous experience.  We provide a safe, affirming space to explore your thoughts, emotions, and needs. We strive to support you in creating meaningful change in your life.

We offer online therapy across Ontario, and can guide you through the NIHB process so you can focus on your healing without financial barriers.

Just reach out — we’ll help you get started.
