Interim Federal Health Program (IFHP)

We believe everyone deserves access to compassionate, high-quality mental health care – especially during times of transition and uncertainty. If you are a refugee, refugee claimant, or protected person in Canada and eligible for the Interim Federal Health Program (IFHP), your therapy sessions at Redbird Therapy may be covered.

Our clinicians include IFHP-registered providers who are experienced in supporting individuals navigating displacement, resettlement, and complex life changes. We offer care that is culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and grounded in respect for your story, identity, and resilience.

We understand that experiences such as forced migration, family separation, and systemic barriers can have a lasting impact on mental health and wellbeing. Our team provides a safe, supportive space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences at your own pace. Whether you’re coping with anxiety, stress, trauma, or adjusting to life in a new environment, we are here to support you.

We offer virtual therapy sessions across Ontario and can help guide you through the IFHP process – including verifying your coverage and handling billing directly – so you can focus on your healing without added stress.

Just reach out – we’ll help you get started.
